Finalists will come for one (1) welcoming and onboarding session via Zoom on Friday, 25 November, 8.30 to 10PM.
Finalists will need to complete pre-work assignments via Canvas LMS before coming to the in-person finale in Sintok, Kedah!
Finalists will be travelling to Universiti Utara Malaysia, in Sintok, Kedah for our in-person finale.

DFIC 2022 is an innovation design competition. In short, we would like to get your ideas on how we can get more disadvantaged people to protect themselves with microtakaful!
Solutions can be focused on the following (but are not limited to): policy changes, initiatives, projects, campaigns, movements.
Apart from cash prizes up to RM5,000, you will also meet like-minded people who are passionate about improving the lives of all Malaysians and you may be prioritised for internship positions with one of the organisers.
25 November: Attend one (1) online workshop via Zoom.
26 November – 6 December: Complete the online pre-work assigned.
7 – 11 December: Attend in-person finale at UUM, Sintok, Kedah!

Participants are allowed to speak and present in Bahasa or English.
Absolutely NOT! As long as you are within 18 to 30 years old and are passionate and creative about wanting to build a more equitable world for all, you can apply.
If you are a family member of someone who is affiliated with one of the organisers, you may not apply. Everyone else is welcomed to apply!
